Where to Shop?

If you're new to the lolita community , you may be wondering where all these girls get their lovely clothes. I'll admit, a lot of it probably is brand, but if you're like me and you can't afford to shuck out over $200 for a dress...then THIS is the entry for you!

You may be a seasoned lolita looking for new places to get some original or different items as well. This is also for you!

So let's get started with what we can find in North America and Europe, shall we:

Not all of these stores are specifically lolita, but they carry lolita items or pieces that could work well with a lolita wardrobe. I invite you to browse through these websites and see what you like best.

And now for the threads from Japan! Be prepared to deal out big bucks for some of this stuff:

And those are just the big names!

Any trusted Ebay sellers? Why, I'm glad you asked. In fact, I can direct you to a few that I believe to be of excellent quality (seeing as I've purchased from them before!)

Still at a loss? Well, you do have one last option. Visit your local fabric store, grab a few yards of a cute fabric and then go in search of some online lolita sewing tutorials. Yes, you can make your very own lolita fashion and if you're savvy with a needle and thread, it's a great way to make your own custom designs!

Even if you can't afford brand, don't give up on lolita if you really love it.
